Héctor Poveda is a professor at the Facultad de Ingeniería Eléctrica of the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá. He is the head of the department of Communication Systems and the coordinator of the Research Group in Advanced Digital Communication Systems at the Facultad de Ingeniería Eléctrica. In addition, Héctor is a board member of the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Panama chapter. His research and development interests are bioacustic signal processing, wireless communications and IoT concepts.
